About the Role
We are looking for experienced data engineers to complement our growing Munich team.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in building end-to-end ML pipelines, maintaining our data backbone and co-shape the data acquisition strategy to power our growing portfolio of financial applications.
Successful candidates will be highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment that requires self-management of tasks and duties and a high degree of entrepreneurial drive.
The work location is hybrid with on-site options and the ability to work remotely as needed.
Currently, we can only accept applications from the EU economic area and candidates must possess all required documentation and permits to work within the EU.
Applicants undergo five rounds of interviews with the founding team to assess problem-solving skills, technical expertise, motivation for the role, and allow for all open questions to be answered.

Requirements
We are looking for the below characteristics in applicants seeking to work as data engineers:
University degree in computer science, software or computer engineering, applied math, physics, statistics, or a related field
Strong knowledge in building data and ML pipelines
Good working knowledge with AWS, Google Cloud or Azure
Familiarity with big data techniques, Spark, Hadoop etc.
Creative outside the box thinking to solve complex problems
Great communicator and team player
Fluent in English (written and spoken), German is a plus but not required
